Halo®Hair Weft FAQ

What are Halo® Hair Extensions?

The halo hair extension is the newest type of hair extension that does not attach to your own hair. Instead, it makes use of your head's natural shape and sits comfortably on your head like a crown with a hidden wire. However, your own natural hair will sit on top of the halo firmly holding it in place. Unlike other hair extension methods that require glues that cause drying, clips that cause friction and breakage, or weaves that pull on your hair follicles.

 how to stay on

How Does the Halo® Extension Stay on?

One of the biggest concerns when considering purchasing a halo hairpiece is whether or not it will actually stay on your head and be safe. This concern is completely understandable because it doesn't actually stay attached to your hair at all.The question we often face is, "If it's not attached to my hair, then how does it stay on? Why doesn't it fall off?It may be hard to understand at first without actually trying it on and wearing it, but quite simply, it stays firmly attached to your head at a perfect angle, and although it is not necessary, your own natural hair does sit on it, helping to keep it further in place.

 How to apply

How To Apply for Halo® Hair Extensions?

Using Halo hair extensions is easy and can be done in these 4 simple steps

1 Gently comb through Halo hair extensions and your real hair, making sure neither is tangled. We recommend using a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush to avoid snags and breakage.

2 Use the end of the comb to separate the hair from the top of your head and tie it into a bun. Keep the hair loose around the face, which will create a natural, blended look after Halo hair extensions.

3 Place Halo extensions around the top of your head - the custom length of wire will ensure it stays in place.

4 Unwrap your bun and loosen your natural hair over the Halo. Then gently comb through so that your natural hair blends in with the Halo extensions. Voila, you've got longer, fuller hair!

How Long Does Halo® Hair Extensions Last?

Halo hair extensions can last from 3 months to a year if properly cared for. It is important to groom them regularly and hang them in a dry place when not worn. We recommend washing them every 4-5 years, as washing them too often can cause them to dry out even more. In addition, when washing your hair, it is important to use products specifically designed for hair extensions or products that are alcohol and sulfate-free to avoid damaging them. It is also important to note that if you plan to style your Halo hair extensions, do so when you are not wearing them. The heat from the styling tools may melt the hair extensions and we don't want that to happen.

With so many benefits, you can see why Halo hair extensions have gained tremendous popularity over the past decade.
